Your financial data is sensitive. Here's exactly how we protect it.

Encryption at rest and in transit

All data is encrypted using industry-standard protocols. Receipt images and extracted data are stored on encrypted block storage. All connections use HTTPS/TLS.

Your data stays on our servers

Receipt images are processed server-side and never leave our infrastructure except when pushed to QuickBooks at your explicit request. We do not store data on third-party cloud storage services.

We never sell your data

Your receipt data, financial information, and personal details are never sold, shared, or used for advertising. Period. We make money from the product, not from your data.

AI processing

Receipt images are processed by our AI engine for data extraction. Our AI providers do not use your data for training. The extracted data is returned to our server and stored securely in your account.

Data deletion

You can delete any receipt at any time, which permanently removes both the image and all extracted data from our systems. If you close your account, all your data is permanently deleted.

Access control

Each user can only access their own receipts. Authentication is handled via secure, HttpOnly JWT cookies. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
